Physician - Hospitalist examines, diagnoses, and treats hospitalized patients. Manages patients through the continuum of hospital care, seeing patients in the ER and following them into the critical care unit and organizing post-acute care. Being a Physician - Hospitalist orders treatments, tests, and consults with specialty physicians and primary care physician where appropriate. Requires a MD degree from an accredited school. Additionally, Physician - Hospitalist requires a valid state license to practice. May report to a medical director. Physician - Hospitalist's years of experience requirement may be unspecified. Description:
Physician will treat hospitalized patients from admission through discharge, conducting history and physical assessments, strategizing to improve and/or manage patient health, and attempting to reduce their length of stay through safe medical practices and recommended treatment plans. Physician will work as part of a team with physicians and APPs. Typically, 7 on/7 off schedule, 12-hour shifts.

Qualifications - Internal- Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
- BLS, ACLS Certified
- Must qualify for a medical license in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
