Looking for experienced Acme Multi-Spindle Screw Machine operators for our multi-generational family-owned business in Dayton, OH. Primarily serving the automotive component industry with several ongoing multi-year contracts and also rotating job shop runs. Familiarity with ISO/TS quality methods a plus.
First Shift, hourly rate commensurate with experience, full benefits package.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate Acme Gridley screw machines according to blueprints and job specifications.
- Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure proper functioning.
- Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers to verify part dimensions.
- Monitor production processes to maintain quality standards and make adjustments as needed.
- Troubleshoot machine issues and make necessary repairs to minimize downtime.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
- Document production data and maintain accurate records of work performed.
- Continuously improve skills and knowledge related to machining techniques and equipment.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures to uphold quality and efficiency standards.
