Being a Pharmacy Purchasing Agent requires a high school diploma. Requires certification as a pharmacy technician and licensure from the State Board of Pharmacy. JOB PURPOSE: To provide strong operational and administrative support for the purchasing department.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position requires assisting the Purchasing Department in job costing, establishing budgets, and controlling/reducing costs through value engineering and cost-effective purchasing to facilitate the achievement of the company’s goals. The position will require an ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects, be detail oriented, self-sufficient, dependable, the ability to maintain composure under pressure, maintain good judgement, eager to learn and have a professional and supportive attitude.
