Payroll Supervisor jobs in Vermont

$60K Annual Salary, Monday-Friday, Day Shift, Full-Time

Our client is a custom fabrication shop who strives to provide their customers creative solutions to their problems, and they want you to join their team as a Payroll Coordinator.

Your day-to-day as a Payroll Coordinator:

• Maintain accurate payroll information and documents, collect and enter data, review and resolve discrepancies
• Assist Payroll Manager in ensuring timely and accurate payroll processing by reviewing timesheets and making necessary corrections
• Process time data in compliance with payroll policies and federal/state wage and hour regulations
• Collaborate with managers to ensure accurate PTO tracking and approval
• Assist HR in various payroll-related tasks including benefits coordination, payroll adjustments, and responding to inquiries

Your skills and experience:

• 2-4 years of experience in a payroll setting is required
• Knowledge of Administrative protocols, Human Resources best practices, and federal and state employment laws is strongly preferred
• Computer savvy - Proficiency in Microsoft Office and payroll software is required
• Strong math and accounting skills for fiscal tasks and computations
• Excellent organizational, attention to detail, multitasking, and communication skills
