Payroll Director directs all aspects of payroll processing operations. Establishes and oversees payroll processes and procedures for routine processing, tax reporting and internal financial requirements. Being a Payroll Director designs short-term and long-term strategies to achieve continuous improvement and efficiencies in payroll processing and delivery operations. Keeps stakeholders informed about the status of payroll laws and regulations and develops implementation plans for required changes to operations. The Region Director of Operations will direct business and financial strategies that deliver outstanding service to our clients, exceptional leadership for our staff, provide expertise within our industry and effectively contribute to the development of company growth. This RD will partner with the Executive Management team, operations and other functional leadership, as well as key customers, to drive sustained business results and to create a culture of operational excellence and continuous improvement. The RD is responsible for the development and performance of all market management in each assigned market; instilling the Boyd Group’s Mission, Vision and Wildly Important Goals into daily execution.
Job Responsibilities
Directly responsible for achieving revenue and profitability targets for an assigned region.
Manages the regional P&L so that effective cost-saving measures are in place and revenue is maximized.
Leads and develops teams to optimize service delivery to our insurance partners and produce measurable and cost-effective results that align directly with client's business drivers.
Ensures highly productive relationships and partnerships for the benefit of the organization.
Provides high-level client service and client responsiveness; maintains an understanding of their goals and objectives and ensures the market meets or exceeds them.
Holds Market Leadership accountable for recruiting, training, scheduling field time, coaching, counseling and disciplining employees in assigned markets.
Works with market management to create and maintain a bench of trained, prepared employees for succession planning to provide agility in growth and attrition.
Develops a business plan and sales strategy for the market to ensure attainment of company sales goals, profitability and team accountability. Plans should include the following:
Staffing requirements, including recruitment and assigned locations
Sales goals by month, quarter and by fiscal year
Sets minimum standards for MM field time and training
Participates in business development and other growth related activities to ensure overall division and company objectives are achieved.
Enhances overall organizational capability through effective talent acquisition, employee development, and succession planning.
Ensure successful execution of EHS programs and continue to build culture of safety first.
Develops Market Leadership capabilities and is responsible for ensuring their team is equipped to meet business challenges.
Supports performance of Market Leadership by communicating job expectations, planning requirements, sales reporting, reviewing job performance, reviewing compensation goals and developing actions to attain goals as well as enforcing policies and procedures.
Ensures Market Leadership has productive working relationships with the vendor partners.to strengthen delivery of needed services.
Spearhead the recruitment, motivation, development of the Market Leadership team and instills a culture of accountability, performance based management, teamwork and other best practices to achieve the goals of the organization.
Participates in staff selection, performance and compensation evaluations, corrective action and terminations, as necessary.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Engineering, or other industry-related field required
12 Years in increasingly responsible roles in Business Operations in high volume, multi-site retail or service organization
5 Years Leadership experience required
Automotive industry or retail experience preferred
Ability to work in a fast-paced changing industry
Ability to use data to project trends and improve business operations and financial performance
Excellent written and oral skills, both in presentation and development of materials; ability to present and influence credibly at all levels in an organization
Internal Qualifications:
Must have at least 3 years as a Market Manager
