Payroll Clerk prepares and processes payroll and associated information. Collates and verifies data and inputs into the payroll system. Being a Payroll Clerk updates payroll records and processes routine changes to employee records. Performs basic reconciliation and auditing processes during each pay cycle. Additionally, Payroll Clerk responds to pay-related inquiries from staff. Researches and resolves errors or omissions. May prepare and submit reports and forms required by IRS or other regulatory bodies. Follows all processing procedures, adheres to policies, and maintains confidentiality. Typically requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Payroll Clerk works under moderate supervision. Dealership Payroll Specialist
We are looking for a motivated team player who enjoys working in a changing and dynamic environment. We are looking for a dealership experienced payroll specialist to join our growing team!
The Dealership Payroll Specialist ensures the validity and accuracy of payroll on a weekly, monthly, and annual basis for our growing number of dealerships. They will work with our stores to ensure a timely transfer of all information that affects payroll, such as change in work status, PTO, change in benefits, and other personal data information. They handle taxes, bank reconciliations to name a few and work in our Dealer Management Systems.
The ideal candidate MUST have dealership experience with an emphasis on accounting, payroll and office functions. They must be detail-oriented and good with numbers and proficient with business software and Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
