Payment Recovery Specialist jobs in Kansas
Payment Recovery Specialist is responsible for analysis of denied reimbursement claims. Ensures appropriate insurance coverage for compliance standards and revenue generation. Being a Payment Recovery Specialist monitors, evaluates, and reviews all cost reporting in support of claims. Coordinates with departments and insurance companies to correct errors as necessary. Additionally, Payment Recovery Specialist requires a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. To be a Payment Recovery Specialist typically requires 4 to 7 years of related experience. Contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project. The Candidate For This Position Will Be Responsible For- Supporting the Bank’s Automated Clearing House (ACH) functions
- Incoming and outgoing ACH files; performing daily wire functions, including processing outgoing wire requests from branches, internal departments and commercial online banking
- Posting incoming wires
- Serving as telephone and email support to other bank employees, and performing other account maintenance
- Preparing and/or reviewing daily reports; processing ACH disputes; and ensuring the department adheres to regulatory guidelines
- High school diploma (or equivalent), a Bachelor’s degree in a business related field is preferred
- Excellent customer service skills
- Proficiency in using banking software and systems, as well as Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Excel, Word)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work flexible and/or late hours
