Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Additionally, Patient Transporter typically reports to a supervisor. The Patient Transporter may require 0-1 year of general work experience. Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. Sentara RMH is hiring a Full-Time Patient Transporter.
As a patient transporter you will safely escort and transport patients within all areas of the hospital using safe body mechanics. Strictly adheres to all safety rules and initiatives of Sentara. Communicates clearly with all staff, visitors, and patients. Ensures adequate communication of information between central transport and other departments.
Hours- 12 Hour Shifts- Weekends Preferred-- Friday/Saturday/Sunday Or Saturday/Sunday/Monday

Job Summary

Qualifications:
HS - High School Grad or Equivalent (Required)
Basic Life Support (BLS) - Certification - American Heart Association (AHA) RQI
