Being a Patent Attorney prosecutes violations of organization's registrations and/or patents. Requires a Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school. Additionally, Patent Attorney requires admittance to a state bar. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Patent Attorney work is closely managed. Must have an active member of the American Bar Association (ABA). Must have successful completion of the bar exam.Additional Skills: Must have a completion of a (J.D. degree) from an accredited law school. Must have effective communication skills and problem-solving skills are necessary to work with all levels of staff and clients. Must have the ability to work with senior attorneys to serve client needs best and grow client base. Must possess a proven track record of success in resolving pre-litigation and litigation cases in the area of Personal Injury. Must have participated as the first chair in at least three trials. Must have participated as the second chair in at least three jury trials. Understands and has demonstrated the ability to direct issue-driven depositions.
