The Jefferson County Commonwealth's Attorney’s Office is seeking an experienced full-time Prosecutor with trial experience. The Assistant Commonwealth Attorney will be responsible for all aspects of the prosecution of felony cases in Jefferson Circuit Court. Duties include, but are not limited to, representing the Commonwealth at daily court dockets, working with police officers to evaluate evidence and prepare cases for trial, advising crime victims on the status of their cases, and ensuring their rights are being protected. Applicants should be able to analyze and organize facts, evidence, and identify the determinative aspects of cases and present them in a clear and logical order. The candidate must establish and maintain working relationships with employees, court officials, attorneys, and the public. Additionally, the applicant should have jury trial experience.
