Parts Director jobs in Kansas

The Director of Parts and Inventory oversees all daily activities in the parts room and outdoor storage ensuring appropriate stock levels required to meet organization demands. The Warehouse Manager supports the General Manager in administrative tasks and drives organizational initiatives

Operational Responsibilities:

• Oversee organization and cleanliness of the parts room and outside storage lots
• Ensure stock inventory levels are maintained within set min and max guidelines
• Work closely with our purchasing department to confirm proper and on-time delivery of required components
• Maintain a clean and organized parts room and outside storage lots
• Conduct required quarterly and annual inventory audits
• Support logistics teams as required
• Receive and check in incoming inventory shipments
• Package and assist with shipping outgoing inventory shipments
• Track and control inventory
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements/Qualifications:

• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and data entry systems
• Strong organization and administration skills
• Be able to lift or move up to 40 pounds
• Ability to be a team player working closely with office and shop employees
• Maintains a professional, friendly and positive disposition
• Time management: the ability to organize and manage multiple priorities
• General business knowledge
• Commitment to company vision, mission, and values
• Accurate data input
• High School Diploma or GED
• 1 to 2 years minimum parts room experience
• 1 to 2 years of inventory and parts sourcing experience preferred
