Package Design Manager leads the planning, design, and creation of packaging artwork for an organization. Utilizes graphic arts design techniques and tools to create compelling package designs that reflect the organization's branding and marketing objectives. Being a Package Design Manager incorporates industry practices and any regulatory requirements into package designs. Ensures that design and branding standards are utilized consistently for all packaging. Additionally, Package Design Manager collaborates with production, marketing, vendors, and other stakeholders to deliver designs that meet all requirements and adhere to the budget. Typically requires a bachelor's degree in industrial design, art, graphic design or equivalent. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Package Design Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Package Design Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. This is an in-person position based in Fenwick Island, Delaware.
We are seeking a talented and motivated Design Assistant with a strong technical background in CAD, SketchUp, and Revit applications. The ideal candidate will have a passion for interior design and will assist with special projects, specifically full home designs. This role requires a collaborative team player who is detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks efficiently in an evolving resort market.
Responsibilities:
- Assist principal designer in creating and developing interior design concepts for large scale projects.
- Produce detailed CAD drawings, 3D models, and renderings using SketchUp and Revit.
- Prepare and present design proposals, mood boards, and material samples.
- Conduct site visits and assist in measuring and documenting existing spaces.
- Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and clients to ensure project specifications are met.
- Maintain project documentation, schedules, and budgets.
- Stay current with industry trends, materials, and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or related field.
- Proven experience as an Interior Designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing full home design projects.
- Proficiency in CAD, SketchUp, and Revit is mandatory.
- Excellent visual and spatial awareness with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional time management and organizational skills.
- Candidates must be based in Delaware or have existing plans to move to the area. Relocation assistance is not provided.
