Organizational Psychologist jobs in Ohio

Organizational Psychologist studies and assesses the organizations workforce, management, culture, business objectives, and challenges using psychological principles and research methods. Designs and develops programs and tools that will be appropriate for the needs of the organization and which will assist employees and management to better achieve desired goals. Being an Organizational Psychologist utilizes various methods including employee surveys, focus groups, skill assessments, performance appraisals, and other feedback mechanisms to assist management in identifying issues and driving improvements. Creates solutions and programs that may be focused on employee selection, job training, leadership training, workplace and family issues, and change management. Additionally, Organizational Psychologist requires a master's degree in industrial/organizational psychology. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Organizational Psychologist works autonomously. Goals are generally communicated in "solution" or project goal terms. May provide a leadership role for the work group through knowledge in the area of specialization. Works on advanced, complex technical projects or business issues requiring state of the art technical or industry knowledge.   • Scope of Responsibility:

    • Manage leadership and sales development efforts for Fluid Power (FP) and Flow Control units (FCx)
    • Collaborate with leaders to define needs for onboarding and product training content
    • Connect with internal experts and external suppliers to develop, and post content
    • Team with Organizational Learning to create online content and assign to associates
    • Design and launch communication for leadership and sales program engagement
    • Act as key learning liaison between unit leaders, Organizational Learning and Subject Matter Experts

     

    Job Duties:

    • Partner with leaders to elevate programs and create cohesion of learning messages across subsidiaries
    • Drive onboarding and career path certifications for sales and leadership associates
    • Social Learning platform administrator (SAP Jam) for related vendor, product, and learning content
    • Curate supporting content and web articles for sales, products, leadership, and professional development
    • Write learning content as needed.
    • Communication - Monthly learning reporting and narrative for leadership development

     

    Desired Education, Experience and Skills:

    Bachelor of Science or Arts degree

    5 years of experience in development, writing, and content creation

     

    Necessary skills and professional experience

      • Project management and organization certification or equivalent experience
      • Career or Organizational Development experience
      • Writing skills and script writing
      • Prior learning content design
      • Team collaboration
