```Job Summary```

We are looking for an experienced Oracle Database Administrator (DBA) with strong expertise in PL/SQL development to join our team. As an Oracle DBA, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of our Oracle databases, as well as actively contributing to the development of PL/SQL functions, procedures, and packages.

```Responsibilities```

• Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain Oracle database software and related components.
• Design, implement, and manage database schemas, tablespaces, and data files to optimize performance and scalability.
• Monitor and tune database performance using Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) or other monitoring tools, and implement performance optimization techniques.
• Perform regular backups and disaster recovery planning to ensure data integrity and availability.
• Implement and enforce security policies and access controls to protect sensitive data in Oracle databases.
• Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues, including database errors, performance bottlenecks, and connectivity problems.
• Collaborate with software developers to design and develop PL/SQL functions, procedures, and packages to support application requirements.
• Write and optimize complex SQL queries to retrieve, manipulate, and analyze data stored in Oracle databases.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, including database schemas, configurations, and PL/SQL code.
• Stay current with Oracle database technologies and best practices, and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.

```Requirements```

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an Oracle Database Administrator (DBA) with at least 3 years of experience in Oracle database administration.
• Strong proficiency in PL/SQL programming including writing functions, procedures, and packages.
• Experience with Oracle database performance tuning and optimization techniques.
• In-depth knowledge of Oracle database architecture, features, and utilities.
• Familiarity with Oracle High Availability (HA) solutions such as Oracle Real Application Clusters (RAC) and Data Guard.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex database issues.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Oracle certifications such as Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) or Oracle Certified Expert (OCE) are preferred but not required.
• Experience with version control systems such as Git and DevOps tools is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $80,000.00 per year
