Implements data models and database designs, data access and table maintenance codes; resolves Oracle database performance issues, database capacity issues, replication, and other distributed data issues. Being an Oracle Database Administrator may require a bachelor's degree in a related area or in a related area. Typically reports to a manager. To be an Oracle Database Administrator typically requires 2 to 4 years of related experience. Gains exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Database Administrators with Applications experience are responsible for data migration, data
cleanup, data reporting, as well as managing and maintaining the hardwired lines and wireless
connections in a system and the hardware that hooks up to that system. Applicants are expected
to have at least ten years of relevant work experience, ideally in a school or educational agency,
managing school nutrition data applications, and automated processes. Job duties specific to the

Proficient in Microsoft Access
Fixed Asset System Integrations
Testing/Piloting operations
School rollout
Grading user interface reports
API connections
Creating QR codes
Data migration and data cleanup
Analyzing and figuring out the system needs of an organization
Research and development
Keeping systems operating efficiently by performing any necessary upgrades and repairs
Planning a strategy to maintain system security on the computers and the network as a
whole
Optimizing and evaluating the system regularly
Assigning and updating security permissions for the system network
Training or directing users on the correct use of software and hardware within the system
Performing problem-solving tasks when alerted by a user or monitoring system
Tracking, installing, and configuring software updates and performing database backups
to restore and protect user information
Installing hardware and software for the network
