Job Summary
Under the direction of the Shop Leadership, programs, operates, and performs maintenance on 3 and 5-axis CNC routing equipment; Utilizes AutoCAD and pdf drawings to support program development and collaborates with the Engineering Dept.to prepare and finalize programs; Utilizes CAM software to produce programs and checks completed programs by running simulations or tests; Determines appropriate sequence of operations in a program and monitors for efficient production; Ensures quality and production requirements are met; Teaches and mentors less experienced employees to accomplish tasks and meet assigned goals; Implements key strategies to gain efficiencies and increase quality as directed; Complies with all safety rules, regulations and standards as they apply to the CNC area.
