Oil and Gas Field Supervisor jobs in Florida
Oil and Gas Field Supervisor supervises field staff that maintains and services oil and gas production facilities. Oversees testing and monitoring of wells, pumps, storage facilities and other equipment. Being an Oil and Gas Field Supervisor is responsible for safety of staff and production facilities. Requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Oil and Gas Field Supervisor typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Oil and Gas Field Supervisor supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. To be an Oil and Gas Field Supervisor typically requires 3-5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. Thorough knowledge of functional area and department processes. Achieve successful on-site installation, servicing and repair processes of complex HVAC equipment and systems without direct supervision. You will follow detailed work instructions and amend any outdated or incorrect instructions with help of the service team.
Primary Focus: The main function of this position is to respond and resolve service calls providing technical support and troubleshooting to Honeywell customers. Additional responsibilities related to the technical delivery of Small Service Jobs and Preventive Maintenance may be assigned as well. These customers may have various products installed that fall into the -HVAC, Automation Controls and 3rd Party Systems category as well as their associated computer systems. The goal is to ensure system uptime and efficiency. This role will cover the region of Jacksonville, FL.
Key Responsibilities- Inspect for Quality
- Install or Repair Work Orders
- Provide Customer Support
- Preventative Maintenance
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 2 years of installation, troubleshooting and repair experience in HVAC, Automation Controls and Fire Alarm Systems
- NICET I or II certifications
- Willingness to obtain NICET certifications
- Experience programming Fire Alarm Systems
- Willingness to learn new systems
- Previous industry experience.
- AAS or B.S degree in relevant field
- Previous HVAC technical/installation experience.
- Previous customer service experience.
- Good written and oral communication.
- Knowledge of Honeywell or third-party software and programming tools.
- Ability to follow instructions, identify mistakes and work in an unsupervised environment.
