Nursing Education Director jobs in Pennsylvania
Nursing Education Director leads and directs the overall planning, development, and administration of nursing education programs. Oversees the design and implementation of curriculums to train and update skills and knowledge of in-service nurses. Being a Nursing Education Director evaluates the department's performance and ensures that all federal and state regulatory requirements are met. Requires a master's degree in nursing. Additionally, Nursing Education Director requires Registered Nurse (RN) License. Typically reports to senior management. The Nursing Education Director manages a departmental function within a broader corporate function. Develops major goals to support broad functional objectives. Approves policies developed within various sub-functions and departments. To be a Nursing Education Director typically requires 8+ years of managerial experience. Our long-term care facility is seeking a dedicated and experienced Director of Nursing with Registers Nurse valid license.
The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, clinical expertise, and a passion for providing quality care to our residents.
Director of Nursing Key Duties
Ensuring all nursing staff provides quality resident care that meets or exceeds company and regulatory standards.
Will set objectives and long-term goals for the nursing department and will guide staffing procedures.
Director of Nursing ensuring compliance with local, state, federal regulatory standards.
Lead and or participate in Quality Improvement (QI) groups and other multidisciplinary meetings.
Perform other job-related duties as they become required.
Director of Nursing Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Valid RN license in the state of PA.
- CPR certification required.
- 2 years’ experience in long-term care or a related setting.
- 1 years’ experience in Nursing Service Administration.
