Nurse Practitioner - Hospitalist jobs in Arizona
Nurse Practitioner - Hospitalist works in collaboration with hospital physicians to manage care for patients with stable and chronic illnesses. Orders, interprets, and records results of clinical tests and reports results to physicians. Being a Nurse Practitioner - Hospitalist prescribes medications and makes recommendations for other therapeutic forms of treatment. Makes patient rounds. Additionally, Nurse Practitioner - Hospitalist plans and coordinates rehabilitation, home health care, and follow-up services for patients with acute health issues. Requires a master's degree. Requires Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner (CRNP). Requires Registered Nurse (RN). Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The team member will be involved in cross cover call, clinical management of patients, placing orders and lab follow-ups, assist with admissions and respond to codes.
Excellent opportunity for a dynamic ACNP to join our team of highly trained Hospitalists:- Experienced ACNP preferred
- New grads w/acute care RN experience
- 3-12’s one week, 4 -12’s on alternate weeks
- 7pm-7am
- Night Coverage
- DEA license and prescriptive authority required
- Comprehensive medical, dental, vision and pharmacy plans
- 401K Plan with 4% match after one year
- CME days plus allowance
- Paid Malpractice
