JOB SUMMARY:
Seeking an enthusiastic person for our team as a Production/Multimedia Assistant. Learn and perform a wide range of post print and multimedia support functions related to printing projects and photo/video production. Learn and perform administrative support and clerical functions, as appropriate to the needs of the work unit.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Experience is a plus, but not required. Rosewood will train the right motivated individual to perform these tasks. Work is normally performed in a typical interior/office work environment. Some delivery and/or field work will be associated with this position, which includes outdoor locations. Position requires that employee must be able to lift 75 pounds.
JOB DUTIES:
Coordinate priorities of various post print production functions simultaneously; organize and implement a production schedule for processing requests post printing; follow production timelines, schedule production services to insure the timely completion of projects; operate various production equipment as needed; exercise judgment and utilize various strategies regarding the production process; inspect and verify completed projects meet quality standards; monitor production systems to insure appropriate and safe procedures are followed as required by operation manuals; troubleshoot and perform operator maintenance on related production equipment; perform maintenance inspections on equipment, maintain inventory of bindery supplies and equipment related consumables; perform other related duties commensurate with the requirements of post print production. Assist in capturing, editing, and producing photos (and some videos) for internal and external purposes at Rosewood Services; coordinate and oversee some technical aspects of photo (and some video) editing; make video products available in a variety of formats, including streaming media files; develop and/or prepare digital presentation materials; perform routine equipment maintenance; conduct field-based photo (and some video) shoots, which involve coordinating and interacting with people and becoming proficient at operating portable camera, audio and lighting equipment; perform other related duties commensurate with the requirements of photography and video production. The Production/Multimedia Assistant position is also counted on to perform other administrative duties associated with Rosewood Public Relations, Marketing and Foundation as appropriate to the needs of PR/Marketing and Administrative staff.
