Additionally, Mortgage Underwriting Manager typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Mortgage Underwriting Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Extensive knowledge of department processes. To be a Mortgage Underwriting Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 to 3 years supervisory experience may be required. The Underwriting Production Coordinator will also manage inspection requirements/compliance reviews as assigned.Job Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent customer service and quality technical support in a high-volume environment.
- Review and determine compliance in accordance with inspection requirements, and process non-renewals and cancellations.
- Analyze information to make decisions and solve problems while supporting the underwriting team.
- Efficiently navigate multiple systems and applications to research, analyze and resolve home inspection processes.
- Maintain established levels of productivity, service, and quality standards.
- Work collaboratively with team members, and business partners.
Qualifications and Skills:- High School Diploma/GED, or relevant experience preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Prior administrative experience, preferred.
- Excellent prioritization and time management skills
