Summary:
The Mortgage Loan Post-Closer/Shipper position reviews closed loan packages for shipping to GO Mortgage end-investors in accordance to published guidelines and regulatory requirements. Retrieves missing/outstanding documents, prepares any final docs necessary for upload, and follows loan through submission to ensure timely delivery of mortgage.
Responsibilities:- Uses Encompass to track incoming closed loan files.
- Reviews loan documentation for accuracy and proper completion; uploads reviewed packages and follow up on outstanding docs with title companies and investors.
- Packages closed loan files and prepares for shipping in accordance with investor instructions and procedures.
- Requests bailee letter.
- Handles note control & transfer of original signed note.
- Ensures proper handling of allonges and any assignments of mortgages.
- Uploads mortgage data to MERS.
- Fulfills miscellaneous audit file requests.
- Procures trailing documents.
- Assists in the Modification signing/recording process.
- Handles incoming mail/borrower payments.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a Post-Closing environment within the Mortgage Lending space.

- Must have ability to learn and apply new skills and use resources effectively.
- The ability to communicate effectively and timely is required.
- Must be adaptable to change, delays, and unexpected events.
- Demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness while meeting productivity standards.
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Word & Excel required. Experience working in Encompass is preferred.
