Mortgage Loan Processor performs administrative tasks for mortgage loan processing. Collects and prepares necessary information such as loan applications, credit documents, and appraisals to process and complete mortgage loan files. Being a Mortgage Loan Processor verifies all documentation for accuracy and completeness. Tracks and monitors due dates. Additionally, Mortgage Loan Processor ensures all documents are prepared and finalized in compliance with regulatory policies and procedures. Inputs and maintains all required transaction and processing records according to procedures. Responds to inquiries. Prepares required regulatory reporting. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Mortgage Loan Processor works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. Mortgage Loan Assistant
Position Overview :
The Loan Officer Assistant is responsible for managing the loan officers’ schedules and assists the Loan Partner. The Loan Officer Assistant I also manages the branch lead tracker, branch database, and maintains business rapport.
This position is Monday through Friday, with working hours of 9 : 00 a.m. to 5 : 00 p.m.
Job Responsibilities :
- Schedule all loan officer appointments, including new leads and additional appointments for the Branch Manager.
- Take all incoming calls.
- Assist Loan Partner II with clerical tasks, such as copying and faxing documents.
- Meet branch objectives specific to pre-qualifications and pre-approvals.
- Attend branch events to assist Loan Officer in building clientele.
- Complete and maintain branch-assigned checklists, files, analysis within allotted branch deadlines.
