POSITION

We are seeking a Vice President of Property Management for our growing portfolio in Cincinnati, OH and Fort Wayne, IN. This is a role based in Cincinnati and will be responsible for overseeing all property operations and site level staff of Community Managers, Leasing, Maintenance, and compliance of the 1,000 apartments, 150 commercial spaces, and 100 buildings located throughout Cincinnati and Fort Wayne. This role is responsible for the physical and financial performance of the currently operating portfolio and will work with the President of Property Management on future development projects.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead team of Community Managers, Maintenance, and Leasing staff.
• Responsible for weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting with support from accounting.
• Develop Departmental goals and objectives and implement measures to ensure successful achievement.
• Oversee the budget and cost control process for individual properties and the management company.
• Assess current operations and create new operating procedures where needed.
• Build and maintain strong relationships by providing thorough, timely and accurate communications of budgets, financial reports, and property issues.  
• Handle day to day operations for the existing portfolio.
• Conduct performance evaluations that are timely and constructive. 
• Handle discipline and termination of employees as needed and in accordance with company policy.  
• Perform other miscellaneous duties as required by the President of Property Management 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in business or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years in a leadership and operational role.
• Minimum of 5 years of property management, leasing and facilities experience.
• Experience in leading and growing a team.
• Experience with strong property management systems, controls, and operating procedures.
• Experience in formulating property management plans and managing performance.
• Strong enthusiasm for taking on challenges, formulating plans, and executing.
• Self-motivated individual with the ability to work independently and lead a team.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Enthusiasm and desire to join a management team dedicated to transforming our urban communities and providing excellent customer service.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and Yardi (property management software)·
