• Pay for this position is 22.00 to 25.00 hourly
• This position is a 6 month contract with the possibility of extension or conversion to permanent.
• Location: Maumelle, AR
• Work Days: Friday through Tuesday, 7 AM- 4 PM.

Qualifications:

• This position requires knowledge and ability typically associated with a Bachelor degree in Microbiology/Bacteriology/Natural Physical Sciences.
• Graduate students of Microbiology may apply.

Summary:

• Day to day this person will be “reading plates”, testing raw materials, water testing and Identifications of organisms. They will also be assisting in lab investigations and supporting the initiation of validations.

Position Purpose:

• Apply expertise in quality assurance and microbiology to the facility manufacturing processes and microbiology lab to result in conformance to FDA-Cosmetic guidelines and current Good Manufacturing Practices.
• The incumbent provides assistance in the development and implementation of quality systems, processes and procedures consistent to meet FDA regulatory and corporate guidelines.
• The incumbent is part of a high performance team and is accountable to perform the required tasks assigned to this position.
• Duties include, but are not limited to reading out finished product, water, and raw materials, additional micro testing if needed.
