Being a Mergers & Acquisitions Analyst develops projections, reports, and presentations of the impact of a merger/acquisition on the organization. Performs financial forecasting and modeling. Additionally, Mergers & Acquisitions Analyst prepares required documentation. Identifies trends and developments in competitive environments and presents findings. Assists with project management activities. Requires a bachelor's degree in business, finance, or accounting or equivalent. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Mergers & Acquisitions Analyst occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Job Requirements- Successful candidates will have 4-6 years of experience in mergers and acquisitions; private equity experience is a plus but not a requirement.
- Candidates should possess strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with and advise legal and businesspeople from inception through closing.
- Candidates should possess the ability to lead M&A transactions from start to finish, including the drafting and negotiating of complex transaction documents.
