Merchandise Allocator allocates merchandise to stores according to warehouse and store inventory levels. Will assist stores with merchandise transfers to fulfill stock needs. Being a Merchandise Allocator may require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. To be a Merchandise Allocator typically requires 2 to 4 years of related experience. Duties:
- Engage with customers by promoting different sale products.
- Customer carry outs.
- Assist customers in selecting merchandise
- Maintain a clean and organized sales floor
- Restock merchandise to ensure availability
- Build furniture for sales floor.
Qualifications:
- able to lift 40lbs
- Spanish speaking is a plus
- Ability to carry product up and down stairs.
