Position:                     Membership & Events Manager

                                   of the Maui Hotel & Lodging Association 

Reports to:                 Executive Director of Maui Hotel and Lodging Association

Job Description:

• Ability to work independently and determine priorities to complete projects on time.
• Proficient in QuickBooks Pro, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint.
• Some experience with website backend use, Constant Contact, JotForm, and Canva
• Responsible for processing monthly financials, working with offsite Accountant and Board Treasurer
• Keep all member information current, contact databases up to date
• Event lead and contact for MHLA events (i.e., Maui Visitor Industry Charity Walk, Membership Mixers, Golf Fundraiser, Kupuna Appreciation, and other events).
• Assist with weekly member communications 
• Design digital brochures, fliers, invitations, and newsletters as needed
• Take minutes and assist with arrangements of monthly MHLA board meetings.
• Run errands as needed (i.e. Bank, post office, etc.) – Mileage is reimbursed
• Monitor office equipment and keep the office stocked (i.e., copy paper, folders, etc.)
• Must maintain confidentiality with all accounts, member information, and information related to MHLA.
• Some evening and weekend work 
• Maui resident preferred. Relocation expenses will not be covered
