Member Services Representative addresses member inquiries, questions and concerns in all areas including enrollment, claims, benefit interpretation, and referrals/authorizations for medical care. Responsible for receiving, responding to, and directing member phone calls, or written questions. Additionally, Member Services Representative requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Member Services Representative works under moderate supervision. Gaining or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline. ROLE DESCRIPTION:
As a Financial Services Representative with Tamara Thomson Insurance & Financial Services Inc., you will be responsible for successfully marketing the financial products that manage everyday risks. Your proficient knowledge of financial products reinforces your sales-minded and consultative approach to educating customers on their financial options. Your analytical precision makes you an invaluable resource to customers and a competitive addition to a successful agency.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Use a customer-focused, needs-based review process to educate customers about insurance options.
- Work with the agent to establish and meet marketing goals
- Develop leads, schedule appointments, identify customer needs, and market appropriate products and services.
Position requires: Series 6, 63 and 65 financial licenses and also a Life & Health License.
- Proven experience working as a financial services representative.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong mathematical skills.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication skills.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Successful track record of meeting sales goals/quotas preferred
