Member Services Director directs and coordinates all aspects of the health maintenance organization (HMO) member services department. Plans and directs policies and objectives for addressing member inquiries. Being a Member Services Director establishes service quality goals for the department and implements strategies to meet these goals. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Member Services Director typically reports to top management. The Member Services Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function. To be a Member Services Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. AristaCare at Norwood Terrace is seeking a Director of Social Services to join our team. In this role, you will provide medically-related social services to attain or maintain the highest practicable physical, mental, and psycho-social wellbeing of each patient.- Develop and implement case management services to all residents.
- Maintain contact with family (with resident’s permission) to report on changes in health, current goals, discharge planning, and encouragement to participate in care planning.
- Maintain progress notes under federal and state guidelines for Long Term Care.
- Facilitate the building of relationships between residents and staff by teaching staff how to understand and support residents’ individual needs.
- LCSW or CSW is required. Must be a licensed social worker.
- BA from an approved Social Work school is required.
- Subacute and geriatric experience
- Minimum one years’ experience with seniors. In Supervisory capacity in a hospital, skilled nursing care facility, or other related medical facilities.
