Member Certification Manager manages the certification and credentialing programs of a professional or membership organization. Oversees the development of standards and testing materials. Being a Member Certification Manager develops testing schedules and resource requirements to deliver testing. Collaborates with curriculum designers and instructors to ensure materials present certification requirements accurately and are validated in the certification processes. Additionally, Member Certification Manager develops quality processes to ensure the testing and validation processes accurately measure certification requirements. Optimizes the certification process to ensure members are satisfied and resolves any problems related to the process. May evaluate, select, and monitor outside testing providers to ensure testing quality. May require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Member Certification Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Member Certification Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1-3 years supervisory experience may be required.     Position Summary

    The Producing Branch Manager leads and manages a dynamic team of Mortgage Originators, developing new business relationships and expanding existing clients for the cultivation of mortgage loan production. Responsible for assigning sales objectives for the mortgage originators, suggesting sales production goals, and accomplishing those on an annual basis.

    Additionally, the Producing Branch Manager solicits and develops a wide variety of residential mortgage loans. Spends an amount of time on outside sales activities, and maintains good sales relationships with realtors and other mortgage referral sources.

    The following duties are intended to provide a representative summary of the major duties and responsibilities and ARE NOT intended to serve as a comprehensive list of all duties performed by all employees in this classification. Incumbent(s) may not be required to perform all duties listed and may be required to perform additional duties.

    Essential Duties And Responsibilities

    • Direct the management of the mortgage loan originators. Assure that policies and procedures are implemented and maintained to optimize the potential for the achievement of goals and objectives in volume, revenues, loan quality and charge-offs.
    • Receive and screen loan applications. Receive authorization to run applicant credit as well as review income/asset information, notify those applicants that are not qualified within the proper timeframe.
    • Conduct the loan interview and secure the customer information necessary to initiate a loan transaction. Provide loan information and service to customers, realtors, and others as needed.
    • Ensure that all mortgage loans are originated to investor guidelines and industry standards.
    • Identify opportunities to improve products, processes, and service to achieve short-term and long-term strategic and tactical goals.
    • Coordinate training and leading monthly loan originator meetings
    • Assign, direct, coordinate, and review work of staff. Recommend branch goals, personnel performance expectations, and appropriate staffing levels. Create a culture of success within the branch.
    • Assist in developing marketing strategies and campaigns for the various mortgage loan products and services.
    • Cultivate branch awareness of mortgage products and services through frequent interaction with staff.
    • Support and advise management of internal and external products and regulations, as well as stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and competitive information.
    • Implement and/or manage marketing service agreements (MSA).
    • Review customer surveys and report the responses to the appropriate parties.
    • Cultivate a culture of compliance and ethics.
    • Follow applicable state & federal laws and regulations.
    • Comply with company, FNMA, FHLMC, FHA, VA and industry standard rules and guidelines.
    • Other duties as assigned.

    Supervisory Responsibilities

    • Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the company policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include scheduling hours, interviewing and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; conduct performance evaluation; working with HR to address work related issues.

    Qualifications

    Education

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or other related field. Four years of related work experience may be substituted for the education requirement.

    Experience

    • Six years of mortgage industry sales/management experience.
    • Related military education/experience may be used as a substitute for education or work experience.

    Licenses & Certifications

    • Registration and annual certification with the National Mortgage Loan Licensing Registry required.

    Knowledge & Communication Skills

    • Exceptional communicator with the talent to easily identify issues, problems or concerns and mentor staff to self-discover resolutions and solutions.
    • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions.
    • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
    • Strong understanding of mortgage products and guidelines.

    Analytical & Decision Making Skills

    • High level of analytical skill to assess and evaluate various aspects of operations, coordinate daily tasks, and independently determine solutions to complex problems.
    • Exhibit sound and accurate judgement. Support and explains reasoning for decisions, and include appropriate people in decision-making process.
    • Demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness. Look for ways to improve and promote quality.
    • Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm.

    Computer/Software/Other Equipment Skills

    • Proficient knowledge of MS Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Ability to operate standard office equipment such as PC, printer, fax/copier, and telephone.

    Working Conditions

    • The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
    • Work is performed in a professional office environment.

    Physical Demands

    Perform primarily sedentary work with limited physical exertion and occasional lifting of up to 10 lbs. Must be capable of climbing/descending stairs in emergency situation. Must be able to operate routine office equipment including telephone, copier, facsimile, and calculator. Must be able to routinely perform work on computer for an average of 6-8 hours per day, when necessary. Must be able to work extended hours whenever required or requested by management. Must be capable of regular, reliable and timely attendance.

    Expected starting salary $20,000-$30,000 in addition to commissions earned
