Being a Meeting/Event Planner researches and recommends event venues. Coordinates meeting logistics, including attendee registration, transportation, accommodations, meals, and technology. Additionally, Meeting/Event Planner conducts rehearsals and system checks of all equipment and connectivity. Researches and maintains relationships with vendors for event support services. Coordinates budget planning and ensures that events stay within cost projections. Typically requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Meeting/Event Planner occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. We are seeking an individual to join our team as a Maintenance Planner. The position offers a great opportunity for someone to utilize maintenance and leadership experience to plan and schedule maintenance in the Stud Mill.

This is a dayshift position :
ACCOUNTABILITIES :
Monitor PM programs to ensure task completion using company CMMS
Adapt the scheduled work orders and PM’s as necessary to best support mill operations
Serve as the primary scheduler for day-to-day and weekend maintenance, as well as project installations and department meetings
Keep backlogs up to date to be used as a scheduling tool
Identify and suggest new approaches or best-known methods to foster our continuous improvement mentality
Communicate with warehouse coordinator to ensure that parts are available when needed for jobs and serve as liaison between parts and maintenance department to manage parts on-hand
Monitor quality and timeliness of repairs to ensure priority is given to safety repairs
Ensure planned maintenance meets environmental compliance guidelines
Maintain working relationships with outside vendors, contractors, and mill personnel
Assist with maintenance jobs as needed
Assist in Production when necessary
QUALIFICATIONS :
Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Makes safety in the workplace a number one priority
Familiarity and experience in the following technical areas :
Basic electrical knowledge
Industrial electronics and PLC’s
Mechanical systems
Basic computer skills with experience using CMMS program, AutoCAD and Dynastar experience preferred
High School diploma or equivalent required
Five years maintenance experience in an industrial environment
One year of experience in a leadership or planning role
Must be willing to work overtime and weekends when needed
