Responsibilities Medical Office Secretary - Weekends Turning Point Care Center has an opening for a Medical Office Secretary to work Saturdays and Sundays 2-3 weekends per month.
The Medical Office Secretary functions as the point person for coordinating day-to-day operations of the medical office to ensure services are delivered in an effective, efficient, and customer-oriented manner and in accordance with all federal, state, local, and accrediting agencies’ regulations, requirements, and standards.
The preferred candidate will have : Demonstrated leadership capacity and coordination skills Ability to adapt to changing priorities Excellent computer skills including advanced MS Office and strong Power Point and Excel skills Good interpersonal skills Organized and detailed oriented Effective communications skills, both verbal and written Sensitivity in handling confidential information.

Qualifications Qualified applicants meet the following requirements : High School diploma or equivalent required. Must be able to push, pull and lift up to 20 pounds.
Must be able to perform physical activities such as prolonged standing, walking, with intermittent bending and stooping.
Must be able to communicate verbally and in writing. Regular and consistent attendance is an essential job function; reliable transportation is required.
One year experience in a patient related field, required. One year experience with psychiatric and / or substance abuse patients, preferred.
One year experience as medical / clinical secretary, preferred. Great organizational skills and knowledge of basic office equipment / computers is required.
