Medical Policy Manager manages and implements corporate policy and process for medical provider and other reimbursements. Ensures that all claims are reviewed, settled, and processed in compliance with and according to contract provisions and regulatory requirements. Being a Medical Policy Manager evaluates and develops policies and provider reimbursement guidelines to effectively manage and control medical claims cost. Cascade AIDS Project is excited to announce that we are hiring skilled and team-oriented Public Policy Manager. The Public-Policy Manager plays a critical agency-wide role at Cascade AIDS Project (CAP). Their primary duties will be to oversee and advocate on behalf of the agency regarding public policies that affect the work of CAP. This includes developing a public-policy agenda, building coalitions, drafting letters of support, providing testimony to government representatives and lawmakers, and promoting and lobbying for the implementation and passage of policies and legislation at the local, state, and federal level. The position will work with the Chief Executive Officer on the strategy of CAP’s policy work, including the development of policy positions and endorsements. The Chief Development Officer and the Chief Executive Officer will be jointly responsible for monitoring and assessing the performance of the Public-Policy Manager.
This is a Full- Time role working at our Davis St location in NW Portland. The schedule for this role is Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:00pm. This is a hybrid role requiring three days a week in the office. This position may require some evenings and weekends.
Starting pay is $90,000 a year. This position will start in September 2024.
