Primary Job Duties:
Verifying eligibility and benefits
Obtaining authorizations / Requesting extensions
Billing claims to Medicaid, 4 PASSE programs, and Private Pay
Following up & working on unpaid claims
Researching and appealing denied claims
Running reports
Staying in compliance with all billing policies and guidelines
Posting EOBs
Computer Skills a MUST
Able to work independently
Problem solving a MUST
Qualifications:
High School diploma or GED Required
2 Years of Medical Billing Experience Preferred
Strong attention to detail
Organization and Time Management Skills a Must
