Medical Billing Clerk jobs in Vermont

If you enjoy working with numbers and speaking with customers, the Billing Clerk position at The Vermont Country Store may be just right for you.  In your role, you’ll ensure customer orders are processed accurately and timely.  This is an entry level position with room to grow and develop skills in billing and fraud detection.  This is an in-person role performed in our office located at 15 West Street, Rutland, Vermont with potential to become a hybrid role with limited days afforded to work remotely. 

 A Sampling of What You’ll Do

• Processing check, credit card and gift card transactions
• Process held orders by working with customers, credit card processor and issuing banks
• Ensure customer accounts are in balance
• Keep tabs on transactions that have been identified as potentially fraudulent

Who We’re Looking For

• One with an eye for detail
• Dependable, enthusiastic, and flexible team player
• Desire to work in a fast-paced environment
• Experience in Customer Service preferred
• Experience with Microsoft Suite and web-based applications preferred
