Duties:
- Develop and execute social media strategies across various platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn, and our podcast, plus a new network
- Create engaging and shareable content that aligns with our brand voice and values
- Monitor social media channels for trends, news, and feedback
- Engage with followers and respond to comments and messages in a timely manner
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create and manage social media advertising campaigns
- Track and analyze social media metrics to measure the success of campaigns
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in social media marketing
Experience:
- Proven work experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role
- In-depth knowledge of social media platforms, algorithms, and best practices
- Experience using social media management tools such as Hootsuite or Sprout Social
- Strong understanding of digital advertising principles and experience running paid social media campaigns
- Basic graphic design skills for creating visually appealing content
- Familiarity with public relations principles and strategies
- Photography skills for capturing high-quality images for social media posts
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) for editing graphics
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong research skills to stay informed about industry trends
