Job Title: Part-Time Social Media Manager

We’re in our expansion era and taking on lots of awesome new clients, and are excited about storytelling and helping businesses elevate their brand through captivating visuals. As we continue to grow and add lots of new work, we're seeking a talented and creative Part-Time Social Media Manager to join our team and manage the online presence of our valued clients.

Job Description:

• Develop and implement engaging social media strategies for 4 existing client accounts across various platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, etc.)
• Create and curate high-quality social media content that aligns with each client's brand voice and target audience.
• Schedule and publish content consistently
• Monitor social media activity, respond to comments and messages in a timely and professional manner
• Analyze social media performance metrics and report key insights to clients
• Stay up-to-date on the latest social media trends and best practices
• Collaborate with the internal team (production, marketing) to ensure brand consistency across all platforms

Qualifications:

• 3 years of experience in social media management
• Ability to produce an “edgier” voice as our clients tend to be creatives as well, so we need someone with strong social skills that can write and publish in varying voices online without being micromanaged.
• Strong understanding of social media marketing principles and best practices
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong preference on living in the Asheville area to assist in in person client meetings, assist with photo/video shoots as needed
• Proven ability to create engaging and visually appealing content
• Experience with social media scheduling tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer) a plus
• Ability to grow with the company (ie take on more clients)
• Passion for social media and staying updated on current trends

Not Necessary, But A Damn Good Plus:

• Photography and/our video experience.
• Creative storytelling
• Experience in Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop, or Premier would likely result in considerably more hours.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $10,000.00 - $35,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 5 – 15 per week
