Mechanic Technician jobs in Massachusetts
Mechanic Technician maintains and services a facility's mechanical equipment, control systems, power distribution systems, and HVAC systems. Performs preventative maintenance and routine repairs to a facility's systems and equipment. Being a Mechanic Technician conducts periodic safety and maintenance inspections to evaluate equipment for replacement and identify wear and damage. Uses technical diagrams, blueprints, and schematics to install, troubleshoot, calibrate, and repair equipment, engines, and compressors. Additionally, Mechanic Technician orders parts needed for replacement and coordinates with service providers to complete maintenance tasks. Uses a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) or work order system to track and document activities. Follows established safety procedures and regulations for hazardous materials handling. May have completed a trade apprenticeship or technical training. Requires a high school diploma. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Mechanic Technician works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. We are looking for an experienced Auto Body Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of auto body repair and painting, as well as experience in welding, frame straightening, and other related tasks. The successful candidate will also be able to work independently and efficiently while adhering to safety standards and quality control procedures. This is a great opportunity for an individual with a passion for auto body repair and painting to join a growing team.
Responsibilities:
- Repair and replace damaged body parts.
- Perform welding, cutting, and grinding operations.
- Perform minor body repairs such as dents, scratches, and rust spots.
- Inspect vehicles for structural damage.
- Remove and replace damaged parts.
- Perform routine maintenance on vehicles.
- Use specialized tools to repair vehicles.
- Follow safety protocols when working with hazardous materials.
- Must have your own tools
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $26.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
