● The Star of the North Maternity Home Care Coordinator Position provides coverage for 6 - 12 hr shifts at a residential facility that serves Moms and babies/childrens. It has day, evening and overnight shifts available.
Responsibilities:
● Responsible to ensure Program Success with the Residents:
● Responsible for Maintaining Health of Residents
● Ensure health care needs of residents and babies are met.
● Responsible for Emergency Management and Safety of all Residents and Volunteers onsite.
● Ensure security of the Residents, answer the door and screen visitors
● Ensure shift documentation is current, resident files are maintained & reports are made
● Responsible for maintaining the Premises and Appliances in good working order and teaching safe usage of all appliances. Report all needed repairs immediately.
● Responsible for Maintaining a Positive Healthy Home Environment
Requirements:
- 21 years of age (unless babysitting) - Previous experience working with Moms and babies preferred
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in using computer system for documentation
