Occasional weekends and nightsPrepares all residential halls with serviceable room furniture prior to school opening for student occupation. Required to deliver all newly received materials and equipment from central receiving to University Departments and offices. Provide support and expedite all departmental office moves including extended campus at Whiteman AFT, and Nursing Department in Kansas City, Missouri. Responsible for the pick up and delivery of all non-expendable declared surplus materials to the surplus lot. Provide support and expedite equipment moves for summer groups utilizing university facilities. Will support all main campus set-ups for University functions, groups, programs and events.Education & Formal Training High school diploma or equivalent Other Education & Formal Training Computer Skills Experience1. One (1) year experience loading, unloading, securing equipment onto trucks or general materials handling required.Other Experience Licenses, Certificates, Registrations, & State/Federal Requirements of Position: Driver's license Other Licenses, Certificates, Registrations, & State/Federal Requirements Special Skills, Abilities, and Knowledge: Other Special Skills, Abilities, and Knowledge Specify sensory abilities: Physical & Environmental Factors: Other Physical & Environmental Factors Lifting weight Special Working Conditions: On call/standby work required, Uniform required, Irregular work hours Other Special Working Conditions Ability to Keyboard Special Qualifications: Other Special Qualifications
2. Six (6) months general warehouse experience preferred.
