Data Analyst, Performance Management
Job Overview
This position will support the data analytics and reporting requests of our growing Performance Management team within Swickard Auto Group. The Performance Management team is tasked with delivering insights and analytics that help drive bottom line impact and improve the customer experience across the entire organization. The daily and monthly reports that this position generates and maintains will be critical in the corporate and retail level decision-making process.
The ideal candidate will have advanced SQL and Python skills, an analytical mindset, great attention to detail, ability to manage projects on their own, and be comfortable dealing with high amounts of ambiguity. The candidate must be comfortable working in a small team with limited structure and have an entrepreneurial mindset.
Duties And Responsibilities- Use data mining to extract information and identify patterns or trends
- Blend data from multiple systems to prepare reports for corporate and dealerships
- Publish monthly and ad-hoc reports for management team
- Build reports and validate against system data
- Perform statistical analysis of data; monitor data quality
- Collaborate with multiple business units to identify mission critical KPIs to track progress
- Maintain and update relevant reporting documentation
- 2 years of related experience in a reporting and analytical role
- Bachelor’s Degree (accredited school) with emphasis in: Data Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics, Management Information System (MIS), Business Administration
- Strong proficiency in SQL
- Strong proficiency in Python
- Experience with creating intuitive visualization with tools Power BI, Tableau, or similar
- Strong attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy
- Ability to communicate well both verbally and in writing with all levels of the organization
- Strong analytical skills
- Solid understanding of data sources, data organization and storage
- Knowledge of statistical methodologies and data analysis techniques
- Strong knowledge of Excel
- Experience automating processes and data analysis using Python
- Ability to connect to APIs to extract data
- Master’s Degree in Data Analytics or similar field
