Being a Marketing Specialist develops sales presentations and provides reports based on information collected such as marketing trends, competition, new products, and pricing. May coordinate involvement in conferences, exhibitions and marketing seminars. Additionally, Marketing Specialist typically requires a bachelor's degree or its equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Marketing Specialist gains exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Primary Responsibilities:- Promptly and professionally address insurance brokers' needs while delivering top-quality service.
- Troubleshoot service inquiries from insurance brokers, verbally and in writing, to help drive sales.
- Cold call brokers to support new product launches and drive sales.
- Facilitate new business documents through issuance and communicate updates throughout the process.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- A High School diploma or equivalent is required.
- Must communicate effectively and professionally, both verbally and in writing, including asking probing questions to obtain necessary information.
- Dependable and self-motivated to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be organized and maintain composure to complete multiple tasks promptly and accurately.
- Customer service or sales experience is preferred.
- Experience with Microsoft Office and web-based applications is preferred.
