Marketing Specialist jobs in California
Marketing Specialist is responsible for designing, creating, and delivering marketing programs to support the growth and expansion of company products and services. Creates, conveys brand messages and improves brand awareness. Being a Marketing Specialist develops sales presentations and provides reports based on information collected such as marketing trends, competition, new products, and pricing. May coordinate involvement in conferences, exhibitions and marketing seminars. Additionally, Marketing Specialist typically requires a bachelor's degree or its equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Marketing Specialist gains exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Responsibilities:- Create, distribute, and collect records of program participants
- Create program activities and accurate participant records in unique databases
- Stay updated on new products, services, and benefits we can offer potential new members
- Be comfortable interacting in person with potential customers
- Drive an extraordinary level of self-generated lead activity to build a referral pipeline
- Greet and assist community members in the division/program
- Assist the event manager with any day to day administrative support as required
- A High School diploma or GED required
- A College degree in a related field is desirable but not required
- 0-2 years of experience as a Customer Service Representative, Sales, or Marketing
- Team-oriented with the ability to create solutions independently
- Driven to further one's career and make an impact
- Dedication to good attendance and punctuality
- Devotion to the company’s mission
