Position Overview

Avid Marketing Group is seeking a Senior Marketing Analyst with experience transforming raw data into actionable insights. Using primary tools Excel and PowerPoint, you will gather data from multiple sources to report on print and digital coupon performance.

Reports to: Sr. Director, Analytics

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Reporting program-specific performance across traditional CPG shopper and trade tactics
• Reporting across multiple programs, analyzing what’s working and what needs to be optimized
• Making program/tactic recommendations based on historical performance
• Estimating performance based on historical performance
• Support Analytics team with ensuring foundational data is accurate
• Partner with Account team and Clients to deliver best-in-class reporting

Qualifications

Must have:

• 3 years’ experience with marketing or promotional performance analytics
• Expert in Excel and PowerPoint, including regular use of pivot tables and formulas (vlookup, if/then, sumif, etc.)
• Ability to analyze and interpret large quantities of data from multiple sources and summarize into key insights/learnings
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to question status quo
• Demonstrate initiative and ownership of responsibilities
• Excellent presentation skills and comfortable presenting to leadership

Not required, but nice to have:

• CPG or Retail data exposure
• Syndicated data experience (Circana/IRI, Nielsen, Numerator)
• Excel tool building
• Experience with BI tools
• Previously worked in an agency setting

Candidates who progress to the final interview phase will be asked to share samples of their work in addition to completing a brief analytics assessment.

AMG is working in a hybrid-style. We believe in the collaborative nature of face-to-face meetings but also believe that working from home a day or two a week is beneficial.
