Overview
Massage Envy is looking to hire a Marketing Analyst Manager to draw simplified learnings out of complex data from multiple sources. You will be responsible for tracking marketing spending, KPI’s, and identifying customer insights through multiple sources to identify opportunities to drive business results. You will analyze marketing and employer brand performance aligned with business strategy by developing and refining techniques used to measure engagement, conversion, and trends for marketing. Additionally, you will evaluate the multichannel impact of marketing activities on engagement, membership, and ROI.
Essential Functions
- Lead bi-weekly meetings highlighting client, business, and marketing trends
- Conduct promotion analyses and communicate results
- Manage and translate large, raw datasets and identify insights around business trends, customer, and candidate profile/segmentation behaviors
- Understanding of datasets/databases and partner closely with FP&A, external vendors, and IT data teams to identify new data sources or tools
- Identify marketing and business level opportunities based on learnings and insights
- Create and distribute marketing dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators and trends in network performance by campaign or initiative
- Simplify findings into summaries and visuals that provide high-level insights for executive updates
- Manage relationships with external marketing and employer brand analytics vendors
- Monitor competitive data and activity across available sources and identify trends and opportunities
- Actively seek ways to address data gaps and quality gaps to improve performance to maximize results
- Collect and summarize relevant industry insights from public sources
- Gather, analyze, and interpret employer brand data to ensure performance is aligned to business strategy
- Support team by providing ad hoc reports
Education, Experience, and Skills Required
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- 2-3 years hands-on experience in data analytics
- Analytical background with the ability to use multiple data sets, technologies, and analytical techniques to identify business trends, risks, and opportunities
- Strong analytical mindset, attention to details, critical thinking abilities, problem solver
- Previous experience developing and creating reports
- Ability to gather data from multiple sources and create meaningful results
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple assignments and deliverables
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Working knowledge of Power BI, SQL and Salesforce is a plus
- Strong analytics skills with an understanding of Google Analytics, web, and CRM analytics
- Organized with self-initiative and passion to explore data for additional learnings
- Outstanding communication skills (both oral and written) coupled with the ability to articulate clearly
- Strong ability to build relationships/excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Self-directed with the ability to exercise independent judgment
- Occasional travel may be required
