Machine Shop Production Supervisor jobs in Missouri

Job Description

Requirements:

• Analyzes travelers and blueprints to determine information such as material to be used, type of operations, and sequence of operations required.
• Oversees requisitions fixtures, tools and material.
• Inspects defective machinery to determine cause of malfunction and reports need for machine repairs to the maintenance dept. Follows up to ensure the machine is proper working order.
• Works with planning in progress and finished products.
• Over sees production schedules and estimates worker hour requirements for completion of job assignment.
• Enforces and interprets company policies and safety regulations to workers.
• Adjusts work procedures to meet production schedules. Writes and updates work instructions.
• Over sees and recommends measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product.
• Suggests changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of shop, department, or work crew.
• Analyzes and resolves work problems, or assists workers in solving work problems.
• Initiates or suggests plans to motivate workers to achieve work goals.
• Maintains time and production records.
• Confers with other supervisors to coordinate activities of individual departments.
• Manages production to assure parts are produced in time to meet planned customer shipments and assembly schedules.
• Performs activities of workers supervised.
  
  

Employment Type: Full-Time

Hours: 48 hrs/week

Pay Rate: Depends on Experience
