Lockbox Manager manages, coordinates and oversees all aspects of the company's lockbox operations. Coordinates and monitors daily operations in the mail room and money transfer. Being a Lockbox Manager typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a senior manager. The Lockbox Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Lighthouse Payment Services is looking to fill Lockbox Operator position to help with our Lockbox process.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare envelopes and extract envelope contents via automated mail opening workstation
- Validate and sort remittance docs for high speed scanning based upon customer-specific procedures
- Identify and document any unprocessable remittance for return to customer
- Process and document non-standard envelopes and return receipts
- Package and process outgoing mail by applying postage accurately.
- Package and process UPS and FedEx shipments.
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Must be able to work in a fast paced deadline driven environment
- Able to lift up to 15 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Excellent coordination and dexterity
- Mailroom or shipping experience required
- Strong organizational skills
- Maintain extreme attention to detail with highly repetitive tasks
- Candidates with 10 Key data entry experience a plus
