Loan Workout Manager jobs in Iowa
Loan Workout Manager directs and manages a team of professionals in restructuring commercial loans. Works with lending personnel and borrowers to better secure collateral and/or assets of the borrower. Being a Loan Workout Manager is responsible for collecting potential loans that are viable. Develops programs and manages strategies to reach performance goals. Additionally, Loan Workout Manager provides guidance and oversight on high complexity or challenging loans. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Loan Workout Manager typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments. To be a Loan Workout Manager typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience. Description
As a Loan Workout Specialist, you'll assist with straightforward tasks in Loan Workout. You'll receive guidance from your supervisor and help with basic issues, policies, and procedures. Additionally, you'll communicate with client staff in Loan Workout.
Required Qualifications- 6 months of experience in Loan Workout or Commercial Lending, or similar experience gained from work, training, or education.
You'll handle simple customer issues, such as estate matters or settlements. This involves researching, making decisions, and liaising with various individuals involved.
Team Duties- Assist in the final steps of resolving issues.
- Primarily focus on Credit Card cases.
- Receive daily reports and allocate tasks.
- No direct customer interaction.
- Not suitable for entry-level candidates.
- Ability to identify and address problems.
- Familiarity with credit cards.
- Proficiency in researching payments.
- Basic understanding of legal procedures.
- Capability to work independently.
- Prior experience in a large company is advantageous.
- Proficient in using Excel.
- No specific requirements.
- Background in financial services.
- Hybrid work schedule: 3 days in-office per week.
- Full-time position, 8 hours per day, Monday to Friday.
A 30-minute team call will focus on evaluating your work ethic, current role, ability to work independently, and attention to detail. - 6 months of experience in Loan Workout or Commercial Lending, or similar experience gained from work, training, or education.
