EXAMPLES OF DUTIES:
Performs a variety of secretarial, clerical, and related duties. Communicates with members for additional documents, loan terms, and reviews overall loan status. Orders required services for completion of loans and to follow loan policies and procedure. Reviews indirect loan packets for accuracy and completeness. Prepares home equity and consumer loan documentation. Maintains, manages, and ensures accurate and complete electronic documentation.
Processes appropriate documentation affecting title of ownership and lien filing. Examines and assures completeness of appropriate title work for loans and loan files. Prepares correspondence and related documents to release liens and UCC filings.
Responds to member’s requests, concerns problems, and complaints regarding titles. Communicates and conveys information to members. Identifies member’s needs and directs them to appropriate departments.
Tracks loan documentation for timeliness and ensures deadlines are adhered to. Issues GAP/MRC on new loans and ensures horsepower loans are certified. Funds loans at completion of loan review and documentation. Provides lending staff support. Provides title documents to title clerk for appropriate filings. Acts as backup to title clerk.
Opens savings accounts within established boundaries. Identifies member’s needs and directs them to appropriate departments. Evaluates and promotes products that may be beneficial to members. Responds to inquiries made in writing, by phone and/or in person.
Performs a combination of correspondence related functions. Types letters, memoranda, reports, and other materials from drafts or as instructed. Compile information and routes to appropriate departments. Creates, updates, and maintains all mortgage loan records, files, and computer documents. Audits, updates, and maintains all loan records, files, and computer documents. As required assists with researching payment histories.
Responsible for compliance with the Bank Secrecy and Anti Money Laundering Acts including monitoring for such illegal activity as it applies to this position.
Performs other duties as assigned or required.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND OTHER CHARACTERISTICS:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
A high school diploma or GED AND one (1) year of relevant clerical, banking, member service or closely related experience OR any equivalent combination of experience and/or education from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved.
